My nephew, the captain who has three tours of duty has refused to re-enlist with the army this year.
I wonder why...
Technically as an officer he doesn’t need to reenlist. To leave he has to submit a resignation request. Officer’s have a base commitment, but do not re-up like the enlisted folks.
Depending on if a state of emergency is currently in effect and what his specialty is he may find it difficult to get it accepted.
