Do Americans Really Care About Trump’s Iran Deal Withdrawal?
IWB ^ | Chris Black

Posted on 05/09/2018 2:09:23 PM PDT by davikkm

President Trump took the world by storm yesterday, when he announced he’ll basically put the kibosh on the Iran nuclear deal, also known as JCPOA, a move that sparked a lot of controversy in diplomatic circles, and which could potentially make for a significant reset of US’ foreign relations with the rest of the world. Now, the question is, Trump making good on his campaign promise (remember that he promised repeatedly during the presidential campaign to scrap Barry Obama’s legacy, including the catastrophic Iran nuclear deal, and the American people voted for him anyway) is a good or a bad thing for the American people? Is this the right course of action or a mistake? The answer to these questions depends on whom you ask, obviously, it’s a matter of perspective. And it also depends if on one’s perception about “the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism”, to use neocon lingo (that would be Iran), i.e. if you really believe that the ayatollahs are working frantically on creating a nuclear armed Iran, as per Bibi Netanyahu’s claims, or you don’t. However, with President Trump tearing up the nuke-deal, will he get a more secure Israel and a denuclearized Iran or not? And do American people really give a damn’ about what’s going on 7,000 miles away in the Middle East?

Nobody thought it was a good deal which is why it’s an “agreement” and not a treaty. Even the dem senators wouldn’t sign on.

Wrong, the American voted for him because he said he would do it.

Anyone who thinks they’ve stopped their program is ignorant.

Do we want to make sure Iran doesn’t get the bomb, given their statements of hatred towards Israel and the US, and their state sponsorship of terrorism? Absolutely

Do we care that Trump backed out of Obama’s Iran deal? Not in the least.

Is that because we don’t trust Obama to have negotiated a good deal. Yes, we trust neither Obama nor Iran.

Is our trust of Trump part of the reason we don’t care that he backed out. Yes, Trump has been right on many things. If he says the deal is bad, the deal is bad. If he wants to negotiate a better deal, let him. If he needs to use force, let him.

I care. A lot. America first. We do not let the fate of our country and the Middle East depend on whims of Euro-doofuses and Iran-terrorism.

Not to mention: This president, one by one, is fulfilling the promises on which we elected him. More to go, to be sure, but I’m with him. His timetable seems to be working. And all this winning in the face of withering fire and brimstones from the demons in the press and Democratic party.

No mere mortal could withstand what he has stood up to.

Why in the devil do our so called allies care so much when they have to be as aware as the rest of us that it was a meaningless piece of paper? Just to dig in their heels and lodge a protest for the sake of complaining?

“it was a meaningless piece of paper”

The answer for those that know is in these sites:

http://fortune.com/2016/08/05/money-america-iran/

http://www.latimes.com/world/middleeast/la-fg-iran-frozen-assets-20160120-story.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/iran-claims-100-billion-now-freed-in-major-step-as-sanctions-roll-back/2016/02/01/edfc23ca-c8e5-11e5-a7b2-5a2f824b02c9_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.14be36c8abc1

As the sanctions were rolled back, it released huge amounts of funds to Iran that had been dedicated to the creation and extension of their nuclear program. And that should scare the he(( out of everyone.

The infantile ignorance and rabid stupidity in this article makes me question why anyone wasted any time publishing it.

I put this in simple terms for the braid dead morons pushing this stuff.

Iran gets the bomb, Saudi Arabia is going to get the bomb to protect itself

18% of the worlds oil and a good chunk of the worlds natural gas goes thur the Persian Gulf. Detonate a nuke anywhere around there and the world economy doesn’t just crash, it goes into great depression.

Contrary to the screaming ignorant infantile notions of the know nothing clown posse, the US is directly effected by the worlds economy. Unlike the clown posse, the rest of us actually want a better life for our kids and grand kids instead of them having to live the clown posses chosen lifestyle of living in Moms basement until their 70.

I appreciate that and the advantages Iran had with the sanctions rollback but it still doesn’t explain why the UK, Germany and France are so against what Trump did this week... This doesn’t hold water IMO..

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/05/09/judith-miller-will-tobey-trumps-iran-deal-move-splits-america-from-its-european-allies-thats-problem.html

“”The decision announced Tuesday by President Trump flouted public appeals from French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson. All of them came to Washington in recent days to plead with President Trump not to walk away from the Iran deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The Europeans argued that abrogating the agreement threatens the solidarity of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and a united front against Russia.””

We are glad he did it because it needed to be done, but we are focused on the dossier, FISA, and all the moving pieces there. Why? Because it holds the keys to the heart of the corruption that has this country in it’s grip.
