For those reading the tea leaves about the 2018 midterm elections, I direct them to a weekly generic ballot polling question: Now, thinking about your vote, what would you say is the top set of issues on your mind when you cast your vote for federal offices such as U.S. Senate or Congress?

The top four issues for women in order of importance are economic, national security, healthcare, and seniors. So-called "women's issues" don't even crack the top five.

And, sadly, s.e. is not always dependable either. As for the top 5 issues, the uberlibs are sure ratcheting up the lies about the kids on the border and again, sad to say, it’s sticking with a lot of folks who can’t spend any time checking the facts. 13 million American kids living in poverty and we’re gonna spend our tax dollars on trespassers? BS!

Who has the better name for a porn star? Stormy Daniels or S.E. Cupp?

I choose the latter. I cannot every take her seriously.

The failure of identity politics. Kudos to S. E. Cupp for pointing out that issues trump identity.

Here is a concept - how about defending and promoting policies that are good for the United States and the Consitution, not for Party or gender.

Not all Republicans are conservatives.
S.E. Cupp is but one example.

Thanks for the! Since becoming more conservative some people treat me like I have a debilitating disease. I am one he of the many Democrat women who flipped and voted for Trump. The hate out there for Trump voters is astounding & frightening. Any lingering notion that the left was the party of free speech is long gone after this past election is GONE.

Thanks for the thread!

"No Not All Women are Democrats."

Last week I attended a conference where by its nature, there were going to be a higher than average percentage of liberals in attendance. There was an intelligent lady there who was a chemical engineer and did a good technical talk...afterwards, we exchanged some comments about the subject of her presentation. This was at the end of the conference and it so happened we had to go to the airport at the same time and so we rode together there. At the airport, we had a few hours to kill so we found a bar and settled into a couple glasses of wine... about 3 minutes into the discussion when we were talking about some current news, she somewhat offhandedly told me "she was a conservative..." and the conversation took off from there. "No, not all women are Democrats".... and what a refreshing delight it is when one gets the unexpected opportunity to speak with one who isn't!
