I think contact with their feces and urine. It’s here in my state down in the four corners area of CO. If you washed your hands very well, I’m sure you will be fine. I’m not an expert, but it seems like it’s when one comes into contact with their feces/urine and cleaning in a dusty area. I think breathing it in. You could try to get a hold of someone at an ER to ease your mind.

After yet another 12 hour shift, I was laying in bed, hoping for some quick sleep.
When I can’t sleep and I hear something un-natural coming down the hallway toward my bedroom...
I responded.
There was no ambush.
Thank you! I worked 12 hour night shifts in critical care for several years.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY would listen to me when I tried to tell them to schedule their emergencies in an orderly fashion. They always wanted to come in around shift changes, or during dinner breaks, batches at a time.
There was always a dearth between, say, 9PM-11PM; and 2AM-4AM.
Totally inconsiderate and selfish, they were!
I recently read an online article which stated that mice are perfect packages of natural cat food.
Cats will eat nearly the entire mouse. The undigested food in their gut is a good source of plant based food and the mouse fur supplies fiber which aids digestion.
I’ve long said that if cats were in charge of making cat food they would use bugs and mouse guts, not chicken or fish.
