This is a breaking news story, and it is shocking to say the least. It was broken by The Hill’s contributor, John Solomon.
In March of 2017, a ‘behind the scenes’ deal to negotiate with Julian Assange was in the works. It was essentially brokered to persuade Assange to the redaction of agency personnel in hostile jurisdictions and foreign espionage risks to WikiLeaks staff.
This was when Wikileaks was ready to publish the Vault of tools used by United States Intelligence Community to spy on the population and whomever they chose.
Those involved in this shocking story were James Comey, Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va,), Department of Justice (DOJ) official Bruce Ohr, and Julian Assange. American attorney, Adam Waldman, was, also a key figure throughout the failed attempt at the deal between Assange and the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Anybody remember the endless parade of RINOs on FNC who all asssured us that Comey is “straight-shooter”?
I am concerned there may not enough ammo to take out all of the evil associated with the Deep State. This is some truly scary $hit.
Wow. Comey may indeed be looking at prison time. His pattern to hide and obfuscate on behalf of HRC is consistently applied.
But does anyone know where Assange is? Is he alive or did the Deep State find a way to take him out?
Something is strange about this.
Comey was still in his job in March 2017, but not for long. Bruce Ohr, who (along with his wife) were later in 2017 outed as anti-Trump conspirators with Fusion GPS, was in the Organized Crime Enforcement Task Force, not counter-intelligence.
Also, why is Mark Warner a contact in this? He was a Democrat, Hillary supporter and not in control of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Is it not strange that Assange would supposedly seek reveal his leak was NOT Russia, to the very people who were most promoting the “Russian Collusion” narrative? Especially when they weren’t in power and there were others who could actually act on the info?
Your last question is likely answered with an accurate timeline.
I really don’t think there’s a damn person in the FBI, CIA, or DOJ who’s a straight shooter anymore. Everyone has an agenda and a narrative they’re trying to spin.

You don’t seriously think that republican senator Burr was in control of the committee do you? I think Warner has run that committee since day one.
I wonder if Comey’s quicky book deal was really a frantic effort to build a legal defense fund. Methinks he’s going to need it.
Burr, Warner. Not much difference.
There’s a reason that in the House, the Intelligence Committee took the lead on this, but in the Senate, Grassley maneuvered the Russia inquiry away from Burr’s Intelligence Committee to Grassley’s Judiciary.
Also, immunity is granted only through chain of command in the DOJ, the FBI can’t act either way on its own.
This needs investigating.
It may be time for Comey to get out his shotgun and shoot himself twice in the back of the head.
