As soon as they went to break the fox news commentators said the republicans have to be asking themseves if they made a mistake bringing in this outside counsel to do the questioning. its so one sided so far if the momentum does not change this thing is over. The dems are winning this hands down. in my opinion the republicans have been knocked out in the first round.

Not convincing is right - one thing that stood out for me, is that in the midst of being “terrified” that she was about to be “raped” she was somehow able to assess that the other boy in the room, Mark, seemed “ambivalent”, just by the eye contact she claimed to make with him, and that he might be thinking about helping her.
So she’s reading the mind of one of her “attackers”, and ascribing noble motives to him! BS - Clearly this is just one more politically motivated comments designed to portray Kavanaugh in the worst possible way, so that he is seen as the worst of the two boys she claimed being in that room engaging in her alleged assault.
Assertions are neither evidence nor testimony. Christine Blasey Ford ASSERTED she in “100% sure” that Brett Kavanaugh was the inebriated adolescent who was groping her.
Imposed images introduced during “recalled” memories can be more convincing to the person undergoing the recall than reality itself. The incident may really have happened, but with so many of the other details so hazy, suddenly she is absolutely, positively, unshakably CERTAIN of the perpetrator’s identity?
She does not believe herself to be lying, having convinced herself over time that it really WAS a person different from the actual perpetrator. Somebody, somewhere, is laughing up their sleeve at having put one over on that poor simpleton of a girl.
Assertions can be false testimony. She’s testifying that she asserts certain things “100 percent” after being coached for a week thanks to the absurd delay. Perhaps the professor always wanted to be an actress?
Wonder who her acting coach was.

Because this womens story has not be challenged at all. Zero cross exam. Alan Dershawitz said last night this prosecutor they hired is the wrong person for the job and boy was he right. The dems get to speak for their time and republicans have to just sit there while the most timid lawyer ive ever heard speaks for them. She has zero evidence but that is not being demonstrated at all. This is so bad I’m done watching. Absent a miracle comeback this is over.

Elections would be pointless if that happens. It would mean the entire US legal and political system has just been invalidated.
Nobody knew he was a problem beforehand. His private life was as whistle. He was thought to have fewer problems than the other possible appointees.
There was something about some Democrat documents that were leaked a few years back, but that didn't give Kavanaugh any serious problem with confirmation, and Republican leaders were likely involved in that as well.
If Kavanaugh is not appointed, GOP voters stay home and the Rats take a landslide.
