I think Alinski tactics work initially but will simply wear themselves out if not followed at a certain point by a full blown armed thug takeover.
One of their very useful tactics was fixation of the target.

No way. Alynsky’s ilk represent a portion of the population that is mentally deficient and/or evil, which will always be around us. It is the age-old struggle of good versus evil. It is the same with criminals and crime in our society. It may ebb and flow but because it is endemic to humanity, it is reality. We must never get discouraged and we and our progeny, with the guiding hand of Devine Providence must keep up the good fight for humanity’s sake.

They are like the worst weeds in a garden. They throw out thousands of seeds and they all come up. They send out amazing roots that spread the plants. Some of them grow all day, all night, summer, winter, floods, drought. I can go out in my yard when it is 10 below and find green things. Some of them take multiple sprays of the best herbicides and they snap back. They aren't going extinct.
We have to continually fight. I read an article about weeds. A woman ask a gardener why he doesn't have any weeds. He pointed out a tiny little weed sprout. He pulled it and told her that that's as big his weeds ever get, every day. Vigilance and good work.
