Are we watching the passing of Alynski tactics? Is this the Alinsk-ites and their tactics last stand. They tried to destroy Sarah Palin as a Green-Jobs Czar said ( not a quote ) we had to destroy her politically she was a rock star. They did succeed in getting her off the political stage, but she redefined herself, she adapted, innovated, and overcome to fight the battle on different fronts.
They tried the same with President Trump, them Candidate and it continues today, and that was a loss to them a big one, it did not succeed, he is POTUS you don’t get any a bigger position than that.
On Judge Kavanaugh, they are trying it again, but this one is for all the marbles. it is essentially a position for life and they were also using it to gin up their base to have a “D” Congress to have impeachment. If they loose here, where do they go? They are finished, the tactics of Alinsky and gaslighting aren’t working anymore on a common sense Trumpian / American electorate. and I think they know it.
IMHO this is the last stand of the DNC before it politically implode like a structure that is beyond it’s useful life, and it is set it comes down upon itself. Except this time, it wasn’t an outside crew with yellow hats making it happen, they did it to themselves….

No, these tactics are working because (1) people are paying for it to occur and (2) no one is being held accountable. The funding sources are not being prosecuted, protesters are ritually arrested and then released, but not convicted and jailed.

In the age of the internet and what it will turn into (with the Internet Bill of Rights) I think it is unlikely that Alinsky’s techniques will be useful in the future.
A large part of Alinsky’s techniques are based on ignorance, not freely distributed information.
