In my younger days I worked at a TV station and had a much older female boss. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY hated her guts. She was you quintessential feminist fat ass bitch who thought everybody owed her something. Of course, she never got ANY respect. After about 6 months of her bullshit I quit, along with others.
I vowed then and there to never work for any female. It just doesn't work. EVER.

Somes, there are also good reasons behind why people don’t like you. Sometimes it is your policies or your condescending attitude. With this young girl mentioned, I’m guessing it’s nothing more than the fact that someone else got more votes. Wonder if the young girl will go to the press real often & badmouth the winner of the class election?
