Trump would be smart not to get into a spitting match with Romney. I don't know if Trump is capable of it, but he should, for once, rise above the fray. Romney can't be bullied. He's a billionaire and is even more of a self-made man than is Trump. (Both were born into privilege.) He has far more political experience. He has a clean personal record, and doesn't need to defend payoffs to porn stars.
Yes, he's to the left of the Republican caucus on some issues, but don't turn him into a pariah. Turn him into an ally by finding areas to work together. He's to the right of Susan Collins; put him informally in charge of keeping her in line. (Remember that RINO Susan Collins saved the Kavanaugh nomination.) If Trump is smart, he could reach out to Romney and invite him to join the Washington teetotalers caucus, with monthly luncheons rotating between the Hill and the White House. It would be a small group.
[Romney] is a billionaire and is even more of a self-made man than is Trump.

Who are you kidding? Romney’s worth is $200 million from venture capital deals and Koch Brothers payoffs.
Trump’s many enterprises are worth $10 billion.
Romney threw in the towel in 2012 and is a disloyal putz! Today we congratulate ourselves that at Obama kept Romney out of the White House.
Trump is the hero of real Americans everywhere, and he’s remaking our great country.
And “rise above the fray” is the exact opposite of what Trump is about. His mission is to “join the fray” and do battle with corrupt Washington DC — give them holy hell!
Prissy globalist Romney looks like a diplomat but would perpetrate the Deep State disease and open borders Koch Brothers to turn America into another France or a Banana Republic. No sir.
Very well said. He has been elected, better to have an ally than a sworn enemy.
