Grumman OV-1 Mohawk That's what I thought at first glance too but there are two bars at the front of what used to be the windshield, the engines nacelles on the Mohawk are mounted higher on the wing and the landing light configuration is different.

I like the Barons, with those enormous right-side double doors. They are cool with a Garmin Glass cockpit.
The Aerostar 700 is faster at 300mph cruise but everyone has to enter via the pilots door...slide the seat forward. AWKWARD

North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco? Remember these from Back When. They had an odd configuration, with twin props and a tall, twin boom tail.
They were used as CAS, would dive in, fire, and roll inverted on the climb out. I asked a pilot, later, why and he told me that as they would go over the top on the way out, it was better to have positive G.

I never was in an Aerostar. not even one tied down.
But the Aerostar had the reputation of being very demanding on final approach.
I had two acquaintances, one in a job similar to mine and another a customer of mine who got killed in Aerostars.
Whereas the Barons were very easy to fly. Unless you were totally incompetent a very safe airplane.
The glass cockpit came after my time.

The Rhodesian Air Force took ten of those (Italian-origin, acquired through a bogus “flying club”) and converted them into ground attack planes. Rockets and bombs under the wings, and .303 Browning machine guns in pods atop the cockpit. Served them very well.
