You can see the shadow of the crow going EXACTLY over the egg-laying turtle at the beginning and again at the 9:45 mark of this video. Also that scene can be seen again at the end of the video. A great juxtaposition of the Crow Shadow of Death just as the turtle attempts to bring new life into the world. Later you can see two crows hovering nearby.
This is an example of a good thing happening from what was originally thought to be a bad situation. In this case the situation of me lacking a zoom telephoto lens to get a better shot of that turtle. However, due to not being zoomed in, I was able to capture the drama of the Crow Shadow of Death.
Same thing with Ravens and Desert Tortoises in the desert, and they turn over the babies and kill them, too.
There’s an abortionist analogy in there.
At least YT did NOT demonetize this video. Hey, you never know nowadays.
WOW!!! I just found out from a comment at YouTube on this video that I can zoom with my Galaxy S7 Edge. I tried it and it works easily. Therefore I will be permanently stationing a tripod upstairs by that window, along with my cell camera, to take MANY MORE nature shots. Revenue I earn from those nature videos will go towards either a Canon or Nikon camera with telephoto zoom lens. Any recommendations?
For some reason, I heard the late, lamented Captain Beefheart singing: “Ice Cream for Crow”.
