NPR Gushes Over Baghdadi: “He Was a Real Leader”
Summit News ^ | Paul Joseph Watson

Spearheaded a “movement we’ve never seen before.”

NPR gushed over ISIS terror leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, describing him as a “real leader” who spearheaded a “movement we’ve never seen before.”

During a roundtable discussion about Baghdadi’s death, NPR reporter Greg Myre all but praised the man responsible for beheading three Americans and enslaving and killing an American woman.

“He led a movement that we’ve never seen before,” Myre said. “ISIS had tens of thousands of members, fighters, coming in from all over the world.”

“They controlled massive amounts of territory — in Eastern Syria and Western and Northern Iraq,” Myre said, adding ISIS had “millions of people under their control.”

“They administered cities, they collected taxes,” Myre said.

“They had this incredible online recruit presence in terms of spreading propaganda; recruiting followers,” Myre said. “This is a guy that sort of emerged on the scene.”

“And led this group that had done something we’d never seen before,” Myre said.

He went on to assert that Baghdadi was a “real leader” and that ISIS would find it hard to replace him.

NPR was not the only news outlet to be strangely effusive towards Baghdadi after his death.

The Washington Post drew widespread condemnation and ridicule by referring to the terror leader as an “austere religious scholar.”

Others attempted to downplay Baghdadi’s importance, with Newsweek citing an unnamed “intelligence official” who claimed that Baghdadi “had become largely symbolic.”

The heroes of the American left are slowly, but surely, disappearing from the world’s landscape. Erased! Gone! Kaput! Blown to smithereens! Extinguished!

Only thing left of them are the left-wing tears.

Even Obama is being erased by Trump. A true American hero.

That would be raghead Ilhan Omar......she's been bragging about how "intelligent" she is. (cackle)

They've all been reading from Omar's script......

The guy wasn’t a very good leader.

He couldn’t take the pressure and he went all to pieces.

How would Greg Myre know? He would be beheaded if he ever visited ISIS territories. In other words who gave him this nonsensical information?

And, if you read the Text Books that are being used in our schools today, you would find that they speak very positively about the Castro Brothers, Joe Stalin, Chairman Mao, etc. At the same time they focus on how bad our Founding Fathers were!

Government schools must be abolished. Yeah, I know … “My school district is GREAT!!!” No, it’s not. The very idea of government schooling is corrupt. It places the government in a position of mastery over We the People … an arrangement which is 100% backwards. Education is part of the civil society, and must be conducted entirely independently of government.

“And led this group that had done something we’d never seen before,” Myre said.

On the contrary, terror states and murderous despots are very common in history. The Assyrians used to cover city walls with the skins of their enemies. Genghis Khan liked to build pyramids of human heads 25,000 at a time. Idi Amin ate people. Heinrich Himmler, anyone? Come on, Myre, open a history book or two before you bleat this nonsense.

For the morally challenged, shoving people into cages and drowning them or burning them alive is somewhat outside the bounds of normal political discourse even if their people are cheering them on (they'd better). And by "their people" I mean NPR.

The Roman had high regard for Hannibal.

This guy *WAS* effective; we need to examine how he did what he did, just as all military historians study Cannae and the blitzkrieg,

“He led a movement that we’ve never seen before”?

Nah. We’ve seen this with Mohammed, and with many adherents of Islam since Mo created the movement.
