Even though he's saying it, I can't see where that has anything to do with the impeachment charges.

More likely he will call one witness...the Whistleblower. And he/she IS NOT protected from being outed. This isn't about some CEO and some rinky dink trial...this is about the President of the United States.

This has nothing to do with the impeachment trial in the senate. Graham is going to start a separate investigation into the FISA abuses. (because his fingerprints are not on the FISA abuse, just the Ukraine corruption)

He should not call any witnesses. The Senate Trial should go:

1. Opening statement by House Democrats, limited to the evidence already before the House.

2. Opening statement by Trump’s attorneys limited to the evidence already before the House.

3. Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Case for Impeachment.

4. Vote.
