The mullahs share the Democrats' disappointment after Trump's acquittal

President Trump's Senate acquittal and his rise in polls have been a disappointment for Tehran's regime.

An "Asia" newspaper article published a few days before the Senate vote states:

Given the majority of Democrats in the House of Representatives, the impeachment is highly likely to be voted on, no matter if the Senate approves of the impeachment or not. It could weaken Trump's power and his decisions.

Iran was apparently disappointed that Trump wasn't removed. But even those who didn't expect him to be removed expected that the impeachment process would distract him, and would reduce his popularity. They lost on all counts.

But a thought occurs to me: Could the Democrats have received foreign money to go forward with impeachment? Could it be that Pelosi held up delivering the case to the Senate because someone hadn't paid the promised money? I don't know of any evidence for it, except that it would explain why they went ahead on a mission that was doomed to failure, and why there was that inexplicable delay.

The Democrats are our enemies.

They do not have the best interests of the United States in view. Anyone who rejects the idea to Make America Great Again is a Communist. Not to make America great is to make some other nation or world government great at the expense of the United States.

The Democrats are always eager to turn America’s sovereignty over to a foreign governing agency like the United Nation. The goal is to make the United States less a world power and more like a weakened cash cow that’s only good for funding international interests.
