Contribution records appear to show that the newly hired heads of the National Public Radio Foundation and National Public Radio (NPR) are liberal partisans. So why does NPR continue to receive taxpayer funding? The new Chair of the NPR Foundation Board of Trustees John McGinn gave the maximum-allowed $2,800 to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-NY) presidential campaign Mar. 2, 2019. The contribution occurred just months before being elected to his new position for a three-year term, Federal Election Commission records revealed. The FEC lists his occupation as Vice Chairman at the NPR Foundation at the time of his donation. He began his new role Nov. 1, 2019.

Why should hard-earned, taxpayer money be allocated to this?
Auction the whole thing off to a “for profit” entity and clear the airwaves of this communist propaganda flooding America’s airwaves.
Get rid of this albatross.
Cut off NPR and PBS.
Trump should tweet that he’s considering giving the taxpayer funding that NPR gets to the EIB network instead, and watch the lefties’ heads explode.

Nothing new. Frank Mankiewicz used to run NPR. He was a head of the DNC. NPR always has Democrat activists at the top.
Everyone knows that. Just like that Pinocchio is a bad motivational speaker.
This is just irritating. People have been seriously proposing this at least since the Eighties. We have never had a better chance to get this done then under the Trump administration. There has never been less need for “public “ media then right now.
And we can’t even get anybody in the government to even propose it. We can’t get the running dog media to even bring it up. And the people who watch it are very happy with it. As the old joke goes, we have discovered the secret of immortality. It’s a government program.
How about this, in the interest of fairness once just once have the chair occupied by a Republican.
