Is it too late for Karen Whitsett to file to run as a Republican for the House district in which she resides?
It would be something if she chose to pursue this.
I doubt she would switch parties, but if she were to do so, she should do so after she wins the seat in November.
I think what Trump is doing, on a side-bar note, in handling this COVID-19 is awakening people to natural treatments and cures. People now know just how insidious vaccines are and the people pushing them. Also that sanitation, good hygiene, and building up your immunity has worked for centuries and even stopped the early diseases such as small pox, dysentery and so on in the late 1800s. This awakening wouldn’t have happened even just 10 years ago, thanks to a corrupt media and 2-party cartel who’s objective it is to run people’s health into the ground rather than be proactive and stop diseases before they start.
He did it during a press conference with COVID victims.
Lyme is no joke. Hope they can apply an effective treatment.
It was probably intentionally not revealed as the media refuses to acknowledge any good thing our President does.

This story evolved on live tv Tues. April 14 during the WH round table meeting with COVID-19 survivors. POTUS offered to coordinate WH physicians meeting with Karen Whitsett during the televised meeting.
I saw that too. I wonder if Trump is trying to get his doctors to find a specialist who can show that the treatment that Karen received for coronavirus worked on her Lyme disease or prescribe her a course of further treatment with the same or similar drug regimen and monitor its impact on her Lyme disease.
The previous article posted on FR was from, I think, Breitbart, so it was friendly to Trump, but their headline framed it as a general meeting between Trump and victims of coronavirus, which it was. The president and Karen just happened to get into a discussion about her Lyme disease at this meeting.
I think we have to keep Karen in mind and look for interesting developments from her. She seems like a delightful person and very fair-minded individual. I hope for her sake she is able to get hope for her Lyme disease.
If she does, she seems like the type of person who will be an ambassador for Lyme disease treatment success and how she came by it.

They sure don’t! They have already kicked one guy off the ballot, and in Georgia one state-house rep who commented “I think Trump has handled this crisis well” got a severe reprimand from the state party.
That party is the party of lock-step autocracy. It’s sickening to watch. I am not a great fan of the GOP, but I come from a family of die-hard Democrats and I knew from an early age I would never be a Democrat. And I do love my family, but when it comes to politics they are whack! Old school Chicago Roosevelt-JFK Democrats, loyal to the party, and seem to go further to the left as the party does. I remember many discussions from my youth about civil liberties. The last holiday dinner the same people who lectured me about civil liberties in my youth were telling me that “some things should be illegal to say out loud”.
I love ‘em, and accept that they cannot be fixed.

(His lead physician finally inserted a Hickman Double-Lumen Catheter into his aorta to directly deliver certain drugs into his bloodstream that he otherwise could not have tolerated.)
