On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski drooled over, and quoted at great length, S.E. Cupp's New York Daily News column, "The President Is Not Well."
The gist of Cupp's column is that President Trump is mentally "very sick," and should be removed from office via the 25th Amendment if only that were politically possible. Calling Trump variations on crazy is, of course, a stock-in-trade for Morning Joe.

I recall how some here gushed over the “conservative” S.E. Cupp. Some still believe it I suppose.
If you follow S.E. Cupp on Twitter she repeats multiple times a day about Trump being mentally ill...
At one time S.E. Cupp was considered to be an up and coming conservative, but she’s gone the way of Bill Kristol, George Will and others who despite Trump implementing many of the policies they have advocated, hate him with a passion and seek to have him defeated and ruined....
She shows occasional conservative flashes, but generally seems to have been seduced by the allure of praise by the left.
I used to enjoy seeing S.E. Cupps and her columns, but since she sold her soul to the devil several years ago, I haven’t read anything of hers. She can GTH.

Therein lies a big part of our problem. Being in public office, or anything having to do with government should NOT be glamorous - including reporting on it. James Carville once made the elitist comment ‘Drag $100 through a trailer park and you never know what you'll find’. Well, drag a microphone or a TV camera through DC and you will have an incessant supply of narcissists, bottom feeders, and wannabes.
I among others have been greatly distressed by the unusual and precipitous turn of S.E. Cupp from the ways of righteousness and worthy commentary.
The fever swamp has captured yet another.
What Donald J Trump has is a very focused mind and a sharp intellect that rivals that of Thomas Jefferson in some ways. Lesser minds do not always follow his lightning-like thinking processes. Thus they perceive the phenomenon as somehow “sick”.
Try to keep up, people.
