My cousin took me to my 1st minor league game..Rhode Island Reds...I asked him who he thought would win..He said I don't know...but watch # 22 and #12 for the Reds..they never lose a fight......He was right and you're right..It was incredibly exciting and fun to watch from that perspective...I don't remember who won..but Ill always remember #22 hitting the opposing player so hard he went over the goal posts..I assume it was a Field goal worth 3 points....../s

Same here. Seems like a lit up puck could be invented, either intrinsically lit or with a tv trick like the scrimmage lines that are painted on the screen or the golf ball paths.
I was born and raised in Florida. I tried to ice skate once. I couldn’t stand up on the damn things. Why would I pay attention to ice hockey? Nobody I knew played it. It never got cold enough to freeze any of the water over. I’d venture to guess its the same for the entire South.

I think one big problem with hockey is just the season goes on too long. I mean, when do they have the championships, April? It’s a winter sport, play it in the winter.
