Yup, the last 20 years or so have renewed my appreciation of old Hollywood right up to films of the 70s—and classic foreign films-—so much more mature, so much more resourceful and worldly-wise.

I love TCM. It’s my saving grace. It’s my go to channel I watch to save my sanity from watching too much cable news TV. When I can’t stand politics anymore, I go overdose on old movies. Actually I never thought I’d be watching this, but they had an all day, all night “Star Wars” movies back to back less than a week ago, and I actually enjoyed watching all of them, as I missed most the first time around. When you end up watching hours of Star Wars over cable Fox TV, it just shows the desperation to get away from politics.
Watched King Kong again. I also love all the old Film Noir movies, and I pick and choose amongst the other movies from decades past, and watch just about any musical. TCM is my go to channel to preserve my marbles that would otherwise just roll away.

Perhaps. But it will mostly be for the big far left big Dem ruled cities like NYC, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago etc. which have sharply cut police funding and prevented the police from doing their job, even as they have destroyed jobs with mindless lockdowns.
Murders and violent crime in NYC is already through the roof. Nothing new there.
However, most small towns in rural counties are doing just fine. If DeBlasio and his Antifa / BLM pals want to burn New York down, I will not lose too much sleep over it.
