(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

I’m no expert, but I have a hard time believing that. What’s the point of the primary? On the election day, everybody just votes for random Democrats? And all of that just gets lumped together and Electors are chosen based on the Party? That may be right but it seems like it would be wrong.

Biden camp wanted a break every 30 minutes (so 2 breaks during the 1.5 hour debate). Dementia medication causes the need for more frequent urination.

is Biden the “former” D nominee because:
1. the DNC has withdrawn the nomination
2. he is former, that is: deceased
3. the media accidentally realized that — in any case -— Biden is only a stand-in for the planned Harris/Pelosi administration?

Hopefully prophetic.
Bernie or Hilly to succeed,
Should be Bernie based on votes, not automatically Harris....

I was answering the question as to what would happen if Biden withdraws.
The primaries select the partys nominee but on Election Day we actually vote for electors to the Electoral College. Some States list the names of the actual Electors; most States have a phrase to the effect a vote for a candidate is a vote for his Electors. Electors are preselected by the State Party. There are sometimes faithless electors but this has never changed the outcome of the election. If a candidate were to die after Election Day and before the Electors meet to formally elect the President, they would presumably vote for whomever their party chose the replace their original candidate.
