The woke “capitalists” at the Nasdaq stock exchange are pushing to force its listed companies to adopt leftist identity politics. And the liberal media is salivating all over it.
Nasdaq recently filed a proposal with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pushing for mandatory racial and sexual diversity rules for its listed companies’ boards of directors. The new rules, if adopted, “would require all companies listed on Nasdaq’s U.S. exchange to publicly disclose consistent, transparent diversity statistics regarding their board of directors,” according to Nasdaq.
Additionally, the rules would require the companies to “have, or explain why they do not have, at least two diverse directors, including one who self-identifies as female and one who self-identifies as either an underrepresented minority1 or LGBTQ+.” Multiple outlets not only pushed the story, but added their own additions of leftist insanity to boost the narrative.

Possible explanations might include:
1. "Worldwide, White males ARE a minority!"
2. "Here in southern California, White males ARE a minority!"
3. "We, a software company, do in fact have LOTS of "POCs" on our Board of Directors! Heck, most of them were born in either Taiwan or India!"
4. "We couldn't find any women, POCs, or trannies who were at least equally qualified to fill the positions!"
5. "Well, actually, all of our White male executives recently discovered that they were actually Lesbians trapped in male bodies!"

This is illegal. Even Affirmative Action was premised on getting minority candidates interviewed, but the best was supposed to be hired.
