Actually, it means that it was warmer in 300 AD - 1500 AD than it is today.
So.... somehow those things got there before they were frozen over. I wonder how that happened? You’d almost think that these cycles of melt and thaw are a normal pattern of events.
But there is no fun and no fear in that!

And this is not an indication that the glaciers are not primeval? that it has been warmer in times past? Roman times were apparently warmer than the present and Medieval times also. Romans caused global warming then with their use of diesel chariots?
It was poorly conveyed information. They found artifacts from both the Roman & Viking eras. The various individual objects dated anywhere from 300 to 1500 AD.
