In reality, I think it was set off in front of the AT&T switching facility for that area. That’s the brick building without windows on the upper floors. It might have been an attempt to take out communications. There is a hole in the front of the building which to me indicates a bomb powerful enough to do that kind of damage, not just a propane explosion in an RV.
Who ever did it did not design it with proper buffering to direct the blast toward the building to maximize the damage that direction.
This should be in breaking news.
Probabaly was designed to go off later when people were on the streets.
"BREAKING: Nashville fire crews being told to back up ANOTHER two blocks from site of explosion in downtown area. Concerns: possible vehicle bombs left in area, potential radiation. All of this is PRECAUTIONARY at this point. — Phil Williams (@NC5PhilWilliams) December 25, 2020"
[bolding by me] What's this about radiation?
Passerby vid shows a significant portion of probable facade, collapsing, after resopnders arrived, across the street from the taller brick building, next to the Hooters.
A big bang.
Further, there’s fire in that brick building, with smoke exiting upper (2nd/3rd floor?) windows or other openings above street level.
