Kartini is a women's rights pioneer in Indonesia, the fourth biggest nation in the world. She is a national hero. Her birthday is a public holiday.
The great news is that her brand of feminism is based on love of men. With the support of her father and husband she pioneered marriage rights for women and educational rights for girls.
She championed the family.
Feminism in The West is the enemy of family life and mothers.
Its one thing to promote the opportunities and talents of women. Its quite another thing for leftists in the West to delude women into embracing organizations which at their core are anti fertility cults.
These countries just getting into “women’s rights” can look to the West as to how it went wrong, and take it from there. I assume they will avoid the demographic suicide wrought by the gender wars in the West; in fact, they are sending their own people to live in unneeded homes and eventually will fill even more vacant jobs here.

they have had their moments on the Malaysian border (the 1960’s war known as Konfrontasi) and occupied East Timor for over three decades ........ they have ad problems with /chines fishing boats and the Chinese coast guard coming way south of the Chinese coast but by and large Indonesia is a model of peace ....... a softer practice of Islam which Mike Pence has embraced as a model for the Islamic world ....... western countries could do well to look at the balance of faith in God and civilised patriotism in Indonesia’s national philosophy, PancaSila

I meant more it relation to their size. China, Russia, India, etc. get daily coverage of geo-political issues. I suspect if you asked Americans who the top 5 countries in size are, 90% would not include Indonesia. I don’t think I would have. That was my point.
Indonesia gets under the radar.
