“Rope a dope.” While the media devotes 24 hours a day to putting convoluted and sometimes just plain foolish “political contributors” on TV to talk about the ins and outs of the senate Kabuki Theater, the democrats are giving millions of their low information followers a chance to say, “ME TOO” once again. When the vote is taken, a new group will take to the streets after being told they have been cheated. They will be unified in the belief that Trump got away with urging people to burn the capitol and kill the democrats because the trial was rigged.

Rand Paul is exhibiting leadership and giving hope to the Republican Party and decent people.
After all these years of playing a losing game and losing, they have to be doing it on purpose.

You and the author are absolutely right. Demorats actually plan 5 years out on elections. Further after Trump won over 15 candidates in the primary the Dems knew the game had changed....but still they had “shoe in’ Hillary so they weren’t sweating any bullets. Once Trump won they also knew they couldn’t win anything further so their best bet was too make his Presidency as miserable as possible while they wired up for 2021 to boot him out.....by any means possible.

They are not even losers because losers actually stepped out onto the field, something the GOP refuses to do.
Yes I agree with some points in the article. Since Trump won the presidency in 2016, Democrats have planned for 2018 and 2020. While the writer is correct about “low information voters,” he is wrong that these voters are “low logic” voters. In order to “rig” something, one has to be in control of the process. Once the main stream media declared that Biden won the 2020 election, the main stream media said the 2 Georgia runoff senate seats will determine which party controls the senate. The “low information” voter has 2 months to hear that the control of the Senate was up for grabs. Whoever controls the Senate controls how the impeachment trial goes. The “low information” voter knows this because the Democrats and the main stream media said the Republicans were unfair when they didn’t allow witnesses in the first impeachment trial. Back in January - February 2020, Republicans controlled the Senate and the Democrats could blame the Republicans for the first impeachment trial. This time it’s the Democrats who control the impeachment trial procedures. If there is “rigging”, it’s the Democrats who are doing the rigging.
And you see how much support Rand Paul gets from the GOP.

Correct, we were duped. But we (conservative voters) are also weak and gullible. We don’t hold the liars and deceivers accountable. We repeatedly fail to do that. Consequently, we get what we deserve. Harsh reality and until that equation changes nothing will change.
The GOP was? Who? The GOP building? Or the GOP logo? Or the GOP elephant? Inanimate things like buildings, elephants, or GOPs can’t bury anything, people do! Find that person who did that and punish him/her severely! Strip them of their party affiliation!
