North Carolina Republicans plan to censure Senator Richard Burr for his vote Saturday to convict former President Trump in his second impeachment trial.
The North Carolina GOP’s central committee will hold an emergency meeting Monday evening to vote on whether to censure Barr, Tim Wigginton, the state party spokesman, told the Charlotte Observer.

North Carolina is infected with a Stage 4 cancer known as New Yorker Carcinoma. It's infected nearly every cell (county) in the state, particularly the central nervous system (Raleigh) and the pulmonary system (Charlotte). One tumor (Burr) will be extracted at the end of his term. The other tumor has been shown to be malignant (Tillis), but is slower developing and won't probably be considered for surgery again until 2026.
Unfortunately, New Yorker Carcinoma continues to grow within North Carolina and is considered terminal. The patient is on life support and will likely die (become blue) over the next several election cycles.
I think they should form a committee first and then look into the issue. //sarc off//
