A Time to Choose
American Thinker ^ | March 26, 2021 | S. Christopher Michaels

The time to choose has arrived. Americans can decide they don’t want to act. They can sit at home, receiving small doles of their own future money, loaned out by a government whose credit rating was downgraded last summer. The stimulus checks may buffer the effects of social control exacted by power-drunk statists who cover up nursing home deaths in the name of emergency powers. The relaxing of mask mandates may afford some return to normalcy for Americans locked inside for the last twelve months. However, any such relaxation of those mandates is bound to produce a short-lived euphoria that will wear off, leaving citizens to wonder what happened to their rights while they were sheltered in place.

I don’t believe Biden received 80,000,000 real votes.

Look at the crowds he’s drawn.

there are more people standing in line in front of any bank at any given time than at Joe and The Ho’s rallies.

“The time to choose has arrived. Americans can decide they don’t want to act.”

But there is no suggestion of how to act or where to begin, just this generalized crap.

Progressives vs regressives? We forget our own history! America tried progressivism with the Puritans. Within 2 years there were so few people left that they nearly died out, had not a new governor come along and demand that everyone work or receive no pay/food. etc. It was the single thing that changed the course to save the population. The first year wasn’t so bad, as there were enough still working to support everyone, although many were upset with those who refused to work and supplies were severely stretched. The next year, many more followed along with the non-workers, expecting somehow that food & money would appear magically. Instead a famine occurred. Not to mention starvation and disease. Our idiot/progressives have never had to do without. They have been appointed to commissions and think tanks and are handsomely paid for nothing. The money will run out soon. How many of them will escape America to a greener land?

Thank you for the reply. I don’t see traditional values or the people who believe in them as regressive. I love our traditional values. I believe in them. I also agree with your summary of the Puritans.

What would you suggest for specific actions? Where to begin? Genuinely curious.

Neither do I. I can’t say I’ve met a person who can look me in the eye and say they believe it.
