President Joe Biden’s administration is instructing long-term facilities that hold immigrant children to lift capacity restrictions enacted during the coronavirus pandemic to open up much-needed beds in a system facing sharply increasing needs.
In the meantime, migrant parents have said they have no idea where their children have gone after crossing the border into America, as some are about to be housed as far away as Michigan due to the overwhelming number of arrivals.
Moms and dads already settled in the US are being forced to deal with the agonizing weeks-long wait to hear any news of their children’s whereabouts or wellbeing as the federal government struggles to cope with the influx of migrants crossing the border from Mexico into the US in recent months.
Last month, almost 19,000 children made the journey alone, marking the highest monthly total in all of American history.
Seven hotels in Texas and Arizona have already been contracted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to act as overflow facilities to help house children and families and the federal government is now also turning to facilities in Michigan and California for help.
ICE declined to identify specific hotels and locations, saying only that it’s $86.9 million contracts announced last month with Endeavors Inc. will provide about 1,200 hotel beds in Texas and Arizona. Migrant families will generally stay less than 72 hours for processing.
nd it seems that Biden’s genius plan is to place every illegal child in the swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The emergency sites are located in Albion and Erie. Both are designated for children aged 12 and under who cross the border without a parent or other responsible adult. The children are kenned as unaccompanied minors.
The Office of Refugee Resettlement, part of HHS, is opening the incipient emergency intake sites in Michigan and “Pennsylvania.” The Albion facility will be at the Starr Commonwealth campus. The Erie facility will be at the Pennsylvania International “Academy.”
The office has a program that includes over 200 facilities in 22 states but has been coerced to open at least 11 incipient sites to handle the sharp increase in unaccompanied minors, including several at U.S. military bases.
The Trump administration was expelling adolescent immigrants who crossed the border but once Biden took office, he directed all minors to be accepted into the country and expeditiously amalgamated with a sponsor, customarily a parent or other family member, already in the country.
We don’t know if these actions taken by the Biden administration forced Biden’s border coordinator to quit but Roberta Jacobson announced her resignation on Friday amid Biden’s border crisis.
Jacobson was the former ambassador to Mexico and worked as a coordinator for the southwestern border on the National Security Council.
Roberta Jacobson will officially step down at the end of the month.
Jacobson’s position intended to only last for Biden’s first 100 days in office.
After November 2020 it wasn’t like we would be having anymore elections anyway..add that with the MILLIONS of new illegal alien voters, being put in swing states especially Texas, like Biden said, when he said he was not sure if there would be a Republican party in 2024, it was the first honest thing to come out of his trap, he knows, the second all those illegals are able to vote and they will ALL vote Democrat, its over

How do we counter that? How can we educate immigrants on the fact that Dems don’t actually care about them and just want the votes?

Democrats impeached Trump for merely making a phone call, and this bum Biden gets not even a tap on the wrist. They could impeach him right now for doing EXACTLY what Democrats accused Trump of doing: Blackmailing the Ukraine. We have Biden on video admitting to it.
Or how about just basic accessory after the fact? Charge him a new count for every illegal who is allowed to enter the country......

Except as otherwise expressly provided by any Act of Congress, an accessory after the fact shall be imprisoned not more than one-half the maximum term of imprisonment or (notwithstanding section 3571) fined not more than one-half the maximum fine prescribed for the punishment of the principal, or both; or if the principal is punishable by life imprisonment or death, the accessory shall be imprisoned not more than 15 years.
They might as well tear those hotels down when they are done with them. Nobody will ever want to stay there.
And the certification on January 6th. I hope every last Republican who voted to certify the November 6th election is taken out as-soon-as-possible by the voter fraud they sanctioned that day.
