A lot of us do have some Viking ancestors.
Remember, it was estimated of the Revolutionary War that about 1/3 of Americans were patriots, 1/3 loyalists to Britain and 1/3 "undecided".
That seems to be just about where we are today -- for "loyalists" think Democrats, media, academia, etc.
For "undecided" think persuadable, given good leadership from our patriots.
Hard-core patriots were never that many, it was often a very close-fought battle, we didn't win them all.

That’s really the spirit. Never become disheartened even when the consensus is wrong – there is no shame in loving your country however infested with traitors it might become.
