I am a huge fan of Dov Fischer. He’s smart, funny, and very insightful. I shouldn’t be surprised then that Fischer has written what I think is the best article putting the events of January 6 in their proper perspective. The premise is a simple one: “I remain adamant that January 6 was not an insurrection. To say otherwise is a despicable lie.”
This is an important point. By calling events on January 6 an insurrection, the Biden administration is getting away with grossly abusing the rule of law and the Constitution to punish the people who were present at the Capitol on January 6.
Worse, this is happening even as the federal government has consistently given a pass to leftists (whether BLM or Antifa) who, for more than a year, have destroyed public property; looted and terrorized whole communities; set fire to buildings; attempted to kill or maim city, state, and federal law enforcement officers; injured ordinary people, and committed murder. And shame on every Republican in Congress who is silent about this two-tiered justice system and the creation of political prisoners in America.
But it’s not just that the label “insurrection” is allowing the Biden administration to justify fearsome punishments for those who were there on January 6. While I cry shame on the Republicans in Congress, the fact is that they’re cowed by that word “insurrection.” Ordinarily lacking in courage to begin with, these Congress critters have turned into lily-livered, quaking milquetoasts, afraid to stand for their principles on the floor of Congress.

Four officers that were at the Capital riot have committed suicide. Puzzling given that the entire establishment considers all of those officers heroes. What was their depression or guilt? We are missing information.

January 6 was not an insurrection, if it were then all involved would have been armed and the capital would have fell. The Pelosi’s , AOC’s and the Shummer’s would have been dragged out into the street and hung. Now that’s an insurrection! I can dream can’t I?
IMHO, Pelosi has an attraction to Donald J. Trump. All of her life she, because of her political and financial standing in this world, could have had practically anything (or anyone) that she wanted. She was able to control people. She was able to control men.
But that is not the case with DJT. No one controls DJT. And that disturbs her. She will attempt to ruin the one thing that she can't have and that is DJT.
When she tore up the State of the Union speech she was, in her mind, destroying DJT.
She harbors a very fatal attraction.

Don't think so? Portland is a perfect illustration of that point. Language, such as those people understand it or are able to USE it, has failed or been abandoned. The next step for people like that is force and violence.
GUILT and shame is a heavy burden to carry.
Republicans are so dumb politically, maybe in all other ways too. They should have shut down that word, right away.. They should have pushed back against insurrection and claimed again and again, it was mostly peaceful, R’s in the Senate are scum.

Agreed but what guilt or shame did the officers feel assuming it was related to Jan 6?
Do numerous other officers have bad feelings related to their presence or actions on Jan 6?
Makes me think that facts about the riot are being held back from us.
This is what the Washington DC "deep state" does. It lies about "insurrection." It uses these lies to unlock stronger powers to put down dissent. It's been doing this since at least 1861.

Nobody on January 6, 2021 declared secession, or a new Confederacy, or war against the United States, so there was no "insurrection", "rebellion" or anti-American invasion.
That's what makes the lies of Democrat propagandists so absurd.
The truth is, Democrats are only projecting their own anti-American hatreds onto their political opponents.
So, just as in 1861, being a Democrat is a form of mental illness.
