Excerpts from the historical debate between Michel Foucault and Noam Chomsky have passed the reverse many times in recent years. And there is frequently referred to these two thinkers. Here we will be showing the whole fascinating debate on philosophy and politics that in 1971 was recorded for Dutch television.

Noam Chomsky (1928): linguist, historian, philosopher, critic and political activist. As the "father of modern linguistics" (linguistics), he focused on the issue of innate vs.. the learned. In his later career has evolved as a major critic of foreign policy of the United States (from Vietnam to South America to the Middle East) and propaganda in the modern media with one of his major works "Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media".

Michel Foucault (1926 - 1984): French philosopher, social theorist, historian and literary critic. In his work he researches power and its workings, how it influenced knowledge and how it is used as a form of social control. He is best known for his critical studies of social institutions such as psychiatry, social anthropology, the prison system and the history of human sexuality. One of his major works is "The Birth of the Prison, Discipline and Punish" (Discipline and Punish: The Birth of the Prison) on changes in the criminal model of punishing the body (corporal punishment) to punish the spirit.

Sorry for posting a video from a leftist site, but it was the first one that I could find that had an English subtitle track.

Anyways, here's a video of two radical leftist so-called "thinkers" debating human nature from 1971. This is also probably the closest it ever got to Chomsky actually being disturbed by a leftist. And you can see why, since Foucault pretty much advocated for the exact same kind of world the Joker from the Dark Knight seemed to want. Not for the faint of heart, I'll say that much. All I can say is, those two helped create the pure crap that's going on currently and for quite some time now, and deserve to be pillored.

Well, at least Foucault's getting some belated justice of possibly being cancelled by the woke left for his treatment of boys in Tunisia. This needs more exposure regarding just what kind of people we're dealing with right now.

He bullshits all over most subjects but if you read carefully between the lines, he comes out as a Marxist, even if he doesn’t seem to belong to any specific organized party. He spent a lot of time supporting fronts of the Trotskyite “Socialist Workers Party” (SWP, a member of the Fourth International formed by Leon Trotsky in opposition to Lenin’s own international organization for world communists.

Chomsky is also known for his work in linguistics. The chimpanzee Nim Chimpsky (1973-2000) was named for him. Nim was taught American Sign Language and could form simple sentences by combining the signs but only to a limited extent.
