Former Health Minister Agnes Buzyn placed under formal investigation which is the first phase of indictment in the French judicial system. Later on her case may go to trial if the court decides.
Buzyn is accused of "endangering the lives of others". She was the Health Minister in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 but left her post to be a candidate for Mayor of Paris.
The charges are a black eye for President Emmanuel Macron and the probe of the government's COVID response will continue with others set to appear before it including the current Health Minister Olivier Veran and former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.
Buzyn and others have been cited in protest signs across France during the Health Freedom phase of the Yellow Vests protests.
Some of the signs cited in media reporting as examples of Anti-Semitism (Buzyn is Jewish).

"No Vaccine Passport, No Social Breakage"
The video for this protest themed as some of the signs in the protest were written:
"Nos Liberties, Nos Droits, Nos Vies"
"Our Liberties, Our Rights, Our Lives"...

The media in France played up 9/11 to downplay the continuing protests today.
They were protesting in the Netherlands, Greece and Turkey today and I will put those items into tomorrow’s news summary when I start posting in the morning.
