I'm no longer convinced of that.
You linked the vulgar ( used F word ) and the biased piece from Wiki because
***I TOLD you why I did it. Now you’re attempting to mind-read [another classic fallacy] and trying to argue against a position I do not hold nor did not post, which makes it [yet another classic fallacy] a straw argument. You got classic fallacies all over your thinking, like a kid caught stealing cookies from the chocolate jar.
apparently, an ad hominem attack
***What are you talking about? Ad hominem is attacking YOU. I am arguing against THEM, and their F-word = Fringe belief system. Learn the difference. One is legitimate argumentation, and the other aint [plus, I did NOT engage in it!]...
is the best you could do due to, I suspect, lack of knowledge of the subject.
***You suspect. You suspect incorrectly. Yet that doesn’t stop you from engaging classic fallacies. I not only suspect but have demonstrated that you regularly engage classic fallacies in your argumentation and knowledge of the subject matter. Time for you to take a critical thinking class.
Many Christians do think America could be the daughter of Babylon mentioned in prophesy.
***And far more christians do NOT. It doesn’t matter how many people think on one side or the other, it matters if you can demonstrate by logic, reasoning, clean scripture references what you DO think and BACK IT UP.
Many books have been written on the subject by well-known authors.
***This classic fallacy is called “appealing to the popular” or “ad populum” or the bandwagon fallacy.
And as to the matter being “fringe,” you of all people have little room to call others “fringe,” Mr. Cold Fusion.
***Bringing up something completely off topic — another fallacy. And by the way, I can defend LENR any day of the week, especially since it has been replicated more than 150 times in peer reviewed journals. Stick that through your fallacy detector.
I have no time for hypocrites. Adios...
***Then you have no time for yourself. Take a critical thinking class in your adios time.
From the time mankind landed on the moon and the first human flight was only 60 years. The first hydrogen bomb (fusion device) detonated almost 70 years ago. In 1989, chemists Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann claimed that they had produced fusion at room temperature; over 30 years ago.

To date, not a single proven kW of electricity from a purposeful fusion reactor (hot or cold) has powered a consumer device, using less energy than it consumed, since man first purposely fused atoms 70 years ago. So, stick that through your reality detector, Mr. Fusion.

Hypocrite - a person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefs.
Sounds like you, Mr. Fusion.
Lol, sure thing, Mr. Fusion.

***Threadjacker — a person who uses whataboutisms and completely off topic issues to pull discussion away from where they are luzing the argument. That’s you, aholemorphous.
