Two “news” stories broke over the weekend, and they have one thing in common: Political operatives, including journalists who claim not to be political operatives, frantically tried to protect Democrat politicians and in the process made hilarious fools of themselves.
First up, we had this ridiculous hoax in Virginia:
Just in time for Halloween, a few young people decided to cosplay as Charlottesville Neo-Nazis, complete with tiki torches. They stood in front of Glenn Youngkin’s campaign bus and claimed to be his supporters. Y’know, like ya do.

And no, your eyes are not playing tricks on you:
A woman and a black guy. Even the Nazis are becoming more diverse these days!
And of course, they’re all wearing sunglasses while standing in the pouring rain. A brilliant disguise.

Peacefully? If elections tomorrow are a blue wave then we know for sure that voting is no longer an option.
ALL DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL and VILE!
Life in prison or death penalty for tampering with elections.

It’s now unclear to me whether these people were presenting themselves as actual KKK members or sympathizers, or were just trying to suggest that real KKK members would support Youngkin, and were just making a statement to that effect. Either way, it was sleazy.
I’m not a PR or marketing person, but my first suggestion for staging a credible white-supremacy hoax would be - don’t include a black guy

Of course it was sleazy but I would expect nothing less from a desperate McAuliffe campaign. Later today they'll probably try to tie Youngkin to the Kennedy assassination.
One more thing.... if McAuliffe wins (and I pray to God that does not happen) the Dems will crow that it is an affirmation of Biden and Dem policies.
If Youngkin wins, the Dem mouthpieces will dismiss it as an aberration with no wider meaning to the electorate.
I love how they have “Clayton Bigsby” in the racist mix...

The play that was staged in Charlottesville was produced by McAwful to paint anyone standing up for American history as a racist.
It was completely a false flag political theater.
This stunt was trying to leverage off of that hoax.

OK, I’ll bite. What’s the implied meaning with the tiki torches? I got no clue.
Scuse me while I whip this out...
So far as dirty tricks go, it was a low-rent affair.
To look as if they were torch-bearing Klansmen....
