“Wow that’s just peachy. As long as you are doing fine, let the rest of the country starve.”

That’s the can-do-nothing spirit that will save you!

I was starving when I started and it took years to advance but I could see results coming once I started. Then I was sure I was screwed when Obama got elected but I retired and then doubled my net worth under that idiot. It’s sounds like you are good candidate for socialism.

Socialism is exactly what we will get if we keep letting the current system destroy any chance the middle class has to get ahead, or even retain the wealth they have.

It’s not about you. (typical, tho’) It’s not about B’man either. Or me.

Point is, the country stunk it up under Carter and most people suffered for it. Ditto now in progress with Biden. All except a few in high places or the exceptionally capable who can game what real wealth is left in the system are losing our freedom to do well. In the end, less prosperity means most people are less well off, and generally less free to successfully do something about it.

Saying “everyone should follow my example” sounds great, but doesn’t work for most people, or the country as a whole, in an increasingly restrictive system with failing wealth and punishments for success.
