You're assuming it is Small Pox Vaccine with no evidence.
This article doesn't even have the info that 10 were labeled "vaccinia."

I remember when the last accident happened in England, and vials of “Virola” found not long go in an abandoned lab.
I wonder how many other vials are abandoned in other labs, and just cracking one open can release them onto an unvaccinated world.

The smallpox vaccine wears off. People who work in CDC labs who handle the live bug get boosters every 3 years,or if there was an outbreak everyone would get a booster every 3 years until the outbreak ended. Look down in this study the mortality rate vs time from vaccination is given. I wouldn’t want to have a 20+ year old vaccine when an active outbreak is rolling that’s for sure.

Reports say 5 vials were labelled Smallpox and 10 Vaccinia. Vaccinia is a Pox virus that was used to make the smallpox vaccine. 5 vials of smallpox in the wrong hands would be a bad thing, especially for the Gen X and younger crowd.

My former mother-in-law had smallpox as a child in Pakistan. Killed just about all of her clan and just about killed her. Had the pock-marks on her face the rest of her life. Horrible disease.
None of the boomer era smallpox vaccine are good anymore. In the military it was every 3 years while there was a threat from biowarfare.

I haven’t had a booster for at least 10 or 11 years. Still, 11% is a lot better than 52%. And apparently there is no strategic stockpile, even though we know Russia, and probably others have weaponized smallpox.

If small pox breaks out here, Gates should immediately be arrested as he was who floated the warning about weaponized small pox. Lay the blame right in his lap.
Some people are eager to visit as much ugliness / pain / destruction on others as they can and poisoned needles are their weapon of choice.
