Someone came up with that idiocy, and I hear it every day.
No it is not the same thing. Russia going half way around the world, across the ocean, and placing missiles in Cuba (or Mexico) is a manifestly offensive, predatory act of war, while having Ukraine join NATO is a defensive act.
And as for NATO, yesterday one of those EU head hogs congratulated Europe for coming together against Russia, not because of NATO, but because of “the union.”
NATO now is only sucker bait to have the United States bear the cost of defending Europe.
And having Ukraine in NATO is one concept; placing American missiles in Ukraine is another. And, in today’s world, with advanced technology, with missiles in other European countries, having missiles in Ukraine is not all that vital.
This is not about Ukraine joining NATO. This is about Putin grabbing more energy in the name of expanding Russia. A large natural gas field has been discovered off the Crimean coast and in Ukraine proper. The riskiest want it.

I think many people do not realize that the NWO is at least as dangerous as Russia. Now with Biden, the USA is part of the NWO.
