The chart posted is a little misleading, as the "zero" imports was for a brief period of time.

1n 2016 we imported 162 million barrels from Russia.
In 2017, that was reduced to 132 million barrels

Here is a source that has the data on a per month basis: U.S. Imports from Russia of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products

Something is wrong with the data.

I cannot vouch for the chart I posted, even though it comes from Bloomberg.

162 million barrels in 2016 would be almost 500,000 barrels a day.

The Bloomberg chart shows less than 50,000 barrels a day in 2016.

Normally, I would research this more deeply, but besides EIA and Bloomberg, I have no idea where else to look.
