Four weeks from tomorrow the first round of France's Presidenial Election and a Ukraine induced pattern has emerged for the election that puts the incumbent "Globalist" Emmanuel Macron in the apparent driver's seat.
He leads Marine Le Pen of the National Rally in the first round and then when the two of them move onto the second round he wins by 12 percentage points perhaps more.
The lesser known candidates fading in the polls some now show Left candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon sitting on third place at 13 percent.
Today in Northern France a very traditional Yellow Vests protest at a traffic circle in Lomme.
And in Paris the protest continues.
In Strasbourg the protest took on a cross border flavor as Yellow Vests met German protesters on the border with Kehl, Germnany.
Back to Paris and the view as the protest procession made its way through the streets today.
A yellow sign held up behind the banner leading the protest.
It says:

which hearkens back to an original Yellow Vests demand in the fall of 2018 that for a "Citizens Initiative Referendum" to allow French citizens to petition and put issues on the ballot in referendums.
West of Paris in Tours today's protest hundreds at least you can see marching with a banner in front of them.
It says:
"Liberte par la Verite"
"Freedom by Truth"...

And yet what have all these Yellow Vest protests accomplished? What policies have changed?
The protests were working to slow government plans for higher fuel prices when they began huge crowds showed up.
The black hooded anarchists just happened to show up to slow the protests thin them out discredit them to some extent.
Still the government now plans to cut gas prices 60 cents a gallon right before the election next month still afraid of the people so protests have accomplished a little but not reversed the “climate policy” on the horizon.
