Yep. Officially, Christians are neither affirmed or validated or tolerated as worthwhile individuals.
I could see the slow rise of this brand of prejudice way back in the early 1990’s.
It goes back farther to 1960 when Madalyn Murray O’Hair was rejected for emigration to the Soviet Union. So she had to put her kids in a US school, and it burned her up to wait a few minutes due to morning devotionals.
so she sued and got religious teaching thrown out.
She met her end in 1995 when her Atheist “friends” came for her, strangled her and her adult kids, cut them into pieces and buried them in the Texas desert.
So much important literature in the last 600 years has been written from a Christian Culture perspective that without knowing the basics of Christianity you will not understand the Great Books.
