A left-wing outlet funded by liberal billionaire George Soros whined that the world’s richest man’s plan to purchase Twitter was a threat to democracy.
Free Press released a statement April 14 headlined, “Musk's Attempted Takeover of Twitter Would Be Toxic for Its 330 Million Users and Our Democracy.” This follows Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s recently announced $43 billion bid for a hostile takeover of one of the most censorship-obsessed platforms in the country. Free Press castigated Musk for being a critic of “efforts by companies like Twitter and Meta to moderate platform content and restrict the spread of hateful and threatening speech and disinformation.”
Free Press Co-CEO Jessica González railed that “'[u]sers of social-media platforms shouldn’t have to be subject to the whims of bombastic billionaires who are detached from reality and lack any true commitment to free expression, racial justice and democracy.'”

They are blinded to reason. This is why a “national discussion” or other similar clap-trap suggestions are pointless. The only people who practice “bi-partisanship” are the GOPe types wallowing in the deep end of the swamp.
It is time for everyone to admit this and tell their friends.

Some Billionaires are more equal than others.
Those in favor of Twitter silencing the right reminds me of the slaveholders and their political supporters smashing the printing presses of abolitionists. Them acting outraged about Musk would be like slavers getting upsets when a replacement press is brought in.
It’s breathtaking.
Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
Try telling that to the voters of Florida and North Dakota, they want to re-elect their Amnesty Senators so they can provide the Democrats a permanent majority.
Has the Amazon Post written on the dangers of a Billionaire buying a media outlet? It might even get a Pulitzer Prize for telling us about the dangers of rich people owning media companies.
