What is going on with Arizona Republicans?

Southern Arizona has a unique history and culture – one based on absolute lawlessness. As the last state to enter the Union, Arizona was truly the last frontier of the Wild West. It is the land of Tombstone, the site of the infamous shootout between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday and a band of outlaws; and it is now the land of the Cartels – the criminal enterprises tyrannizing the people of Mexico.

Now, political structures whose conduct and integrity is supposed to be beyond reproach, have been permeated by this spirit of criminality. At its inception in 1854, the Republican party stood resolute in promoting morality and Judeo-Christian ethics in government – virtues and positions they have long since abandoned.

In Pima county – the second largest county in the state – Republican politicians remain so dedicated to impropriety and their Establishment pals, they aren’t even trying to veil it.

On April 16th, members of the Pima County GOP Executive Committee voted to earmark all available funds (according to a board member, that number was around $67,000) to defend the chairwoman, Shelley Kais, in her private litigation. The motion read:

I motion this body, that the Chairman and the Treasurer as they are authorized signatories on the Pima GOP bank account, to have the full authority to pay for or reimburse the Chairman for all attorney’s fees and costs, associated with the lawsuit, including any appellate work…. And that that motion include an amount up to whatever’s in the bank account.

Money, taken from donors under the auspices it would be used to support Republican candidates or get out the Republican vote, became a slush fund. Perhaps what’s worse is the overwhelming support the motion received from the board – only four members stood up to the misuse of funds.

“What is going on with Arizona Republicans?”

...other than not doing their constitutional duty of decertifying a Presidential election?

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely?

Human nature at work.

The NRSC’z support of murkowski what’s her face of Alaska is another misuse of funds. Many donors won’t contribute to these shenanigans

As the last state to enter the Union

?? Alaska, Hawaii don't count?

Murkowski’s from Alaska, which apparently is not a state. Nor is Hawaii, if this article’s claim about Arizona being the last state to enter the union is to be trusted.

What's going on with Arizona republicans?

Nothing that a primary can't fix.

We're about to see how much corruption the people are willing to accept.

The rot in Pima County began way back when Tucson and Arizona’s Jewish community funded a relatively unknown politician named Raul Grijalva in their fight to block the advent of a dry-lands institute to be funded by Middle East Arab donors. Grijalva succeeded, and the cabal continued to fund the Marxist until he is now in a position of power in the U.S. House of Representatives. As for the Republicans of Pima, they stand little chance in a county where the mediocre University of Arizona sends many of its 30,000 students to the voting booths, and where South Tucson’s Mexican community lives off of hand=outs and drug sales.

This is all a panicked attempt by RINOs and the McCain establishment wing of the party to retake the party from the grassroots.

Kais is being sued because she has violated the Legislative District reorganization statute ARS 16-823. Unfortunately, we in LD19, which comprised of all or part of 5 counties (Pima, Santa Cruz, Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee) are the only ones who are standing up against this take over. She has elected an alternate LD19 board comprised of only people residing in her precinct. Against statute, she is excluding any Precinct Committeemen not residing in Pima County from participating in Legislative District Committees.

This is a statewide effort to decrease the effectiveness of the rural conservative areas of the state. Kais’s 2nd Vice Chair, Anna Clark, is responsible for the horrible redistricting maps that made sure that a part of each LD is in either Pima or Maricopa Counties. State Chairman Kelli Ward is on board with this, allowing an AZGOP attorney to represent Kais. Ward’s ex-com has allowed her change the name of the state party to the Republican Party of Arizona. She has organized into an LLC and is encouraging the counties and LDs to do the same. They are trying to remake the party from a Precinct Committeeman, grassroots led organization to a top down corporate model. Too many non-establishment people have woken up to what has been going on and have become Precinct Committeemen.

It isn’t just Arizona. RNC, with the help of Cindy McCain and other RINOs, is trying this in other states too. Georgia is one and I forget the others.

Feel free to FReepMail me for more information.

And the redistricting committee handed Grijalva control of the entire boarder from Yuma east to Douglas. Can you say smuggling corridor? Yet the establishment RINOs cheer how great the new maps are. Anna Clark, Pima County 2nd Vice Chair, and the Southern Arizona Labor Commission are under investigation for their participation in this farce.

Kelly Ward is one of us and she runs the GOP down there. Shouldn’t be happening.

Mostly we have retirees from all over the country.
Lots of escapees from Chicago, NY, WI and MN.
When you add the damage McCain did to the GOP here, its easy to see we have lots to fix.

I thought she was too. She promised to represent all of Arizona and not just the Great State of Maricopa. I have supported her through her entire tenure. Until this mess. To be fair, she is being pushed by outside forces and is getting bad legal advice. In public she is trying to remain neutral. However, State Statutes trump Bylaws, and the Statute is clear on how the LDs are to be organized. I have participated in 2 previous redistricting and reorganization processes. The County Chairs have never controlled the election of LD boards.

It could have worked if they added to the motion that they would replenish the fund with any court awards if they win the case.
