Above is a link that I find helpful. While the mark of the Beast may mean a physical tattoo - I think that it goes further than that. It is the entire thinking and believing of people in themselves or an institution or a person or beliefs that are not centered on God.
The number 666 is TRYING to be the perfect number 7, but as much as it tries to pretend that it is 7, or fools other into being a 7, it is not.
In this month of June (gay pride month) it is important to note that the gay pride flag has 6 colors, and is not God’s rainbow which has 7 colors.
The gay flag is colorful and brings ideas of joy and fun. Some even use it to say “God created the rainbow so he even loves gays!” (Well, of course he does - but he doesn’t want them to be sinners.)
And we have seen that many folks aren’t allowed to engage in commerce if they don’t accept the mark of the Beast in the form of the gay pride flag and all that it represents.
Their beliefs certainly control their actions.
However there will come a time, when the abomination that causes desolation occurs, also when the 3.5 years of Great Tribulation begins, the the second angel from Revelation 14 will preach that warning.
The martyred Tribulation Saints will rule and reign with Jesus Christ during His 1,000 year reign. And in into eternity shall they live with us.

It is so interesting that the sodomites chose the rainbow as their symbol when it is in fact the symbol of God’s promise that he will not destroy the earth by water ever again, but next time by fire. Which makes their idea of global warming interesting, too.
The rainbow, as a symbol that God would never again destroy the world by water.
Makes me wonder if they use it as an inner comfort that they won’t be destroyed for their own sin. Leave it to satan to twist God’s Word to promote evil.
