6.8 Million Now Seeking Refuge From Russian Invasion
Zubu Brothers ^ | 6-6-2022

As of June 2, 12 PM CET, around 6.8 million people living in Ukraine have left the country to seek shelter from Russian aggression, either permanently or temporarily.

As Statista’s Florian Zandt shows in the chart below, based on data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), most of the people fleeing have crossed over at the Polish border.

You will find more infographics at Statista

Roughly 3.6 million refugees have reached Ukraine’s western neighbor via foot, bus, car or train looking for safety from the Russia-Ukraine war according to government records.

Apart from Poland, Romania and Hungary have carried the brunt of the refugee wave among Ukraine’s neighboring countries over the last weeks.

As the UNHCR notes, an estimated 2.2 million people have already returned to Ukraine.

Since it’s not clear whether these movements are temporary or permanent and cross-border movements remain highly unpredictable due to the volatile situation in the country, the figure hasn’t been subtracted from the total.

Just a never ending stream of 3rd worlders.

I trust the Hungarians are filtering out the Arab and Swahili speakers among the “Ukrainian” refugees.

What?

You mean they are not sticking around to celebrate their “liberation” from the “nazis”?

While Soros puppet Zelensky seeks NATO membership right smack on Russia’s border.

My very reliable sources inside of Ukraine say much of life is going on exactly how it did 4 years ago.
The few who have left are finding high end locations to hang out (Miami, Sicily) until things cool off.

I’m confused. This doesn’t make sense since the Ukrainians are winning the war?

Socialist governments...

The average German retriree has to pinch his pennies (maybe $2,300 a month). That’s his 40+ year retiremenmt in a very high cost of living country.

But the government, holy shit. They hemorage money like their is no tomorrow. Student exchange programs, climate change, Ukraine, funding UN programs, subsidies for Tesla, buidling new and massive federal buildings, building wind turbines that break all over the place... Germany has a lot of money, just not those who worked for it.

Ever see pictures of Germany after the war?

Don't start nothing won't be nothing.

Ukraine didn't invade any of their neighbors like Nazi Germany. And Ukraine's average salary was $10,102 compared to Russia's $1,472. They were prosperous and free relative to Russia.

Russia didn't invade because Ukraine was full of nazi's. They invaded because Ukraine discovered large deposit's of oil and gas in Eastern Ukraine. Putin wanted to control both that and Ukraine's grain. Both competed against Russian exports. And that undermined Russia's ability to bully Europe.

Or is it that we wanted those things?

Ukraine was able to trade with whom they wanted, when they wanted, as much as they wanted. They had a special trade status with the EU: https://trade.ec.europa.eu/access-to-markets/en/content/eu-ukraine-deep-and-comprehensive-free-trade-area

They were able to move people, money, goods, services, even Western politicians could launder their money there. They had their own elections, Western NGO’s could operate there (really just under the table government or mega corporate interests that are buying influence in places of economic value).

***Why was it absolutely necessary for Ukraine to enter NATO when Russia, like us, does not want another major power playing on their doorstep?

Since the fall of the wall in 1989, it has ALWAYS been a big no-no. NEVER was that acceptable. We were in violation of several agreements we signed when playing in Ukraine (a former Soviet Republic, and the areas the Russians took are majority ethnic Russian and belonged to Russia pre 1922)...

***Could it be the other way around? Could it be that a Mr. Z (paid for and owned by the US), and the West (US and EU) want Ukraine in NATO and the EU because “we are the ones” motivated by greed and seeing the economic benefit here?

Had Biden not given the head nod in October 2021 for Ukraine to enter NATO, would there have been a war?

It must be nice living in a world so black and white and where of course, oneself is always the good guy.

Would we accept what we are expecting Russia to accept? No.

Are we breaking promises and agreements? Yes.

Is this about economics? Yes. But for "us," not for them. For Russia this is first and foremost a security issue.

But it is “us” that pulled the trigger on this one, arming folks in Ukraine in violation of the Minsk Memorandum, expanding NATO Eastward in violation of the Budapest accord, withdrawing from the Ballistic Missile Treaty.

It is Western economic interests that want the securities and stability promised through EU and NATO membership, and Ukraine cannot force their way into NATO, we gave them the blessing for that, and in such we are expecting the Russians to accept NATO forces on their border. Ever hear of the Cuban Missile Crisis? Ever hear of Grenada? Ever hear of Nicaragua? Do you realize what is happening right now, this very second while we talk about sovereignty bla bla bla? We are telling the Solomon Islands (a sovereign state) that they may not accept a deal they made with the Chinese and allow them to build a Navy base there (6,114 miles from our S. W. border). Hahaha

We are big, we are powerful, and that makes us right in a world ruled through force.

Does this look like they are expanding into our area?

Does this look like there is some return of a Soviet Empire?

We are the big guy.

We are calling the shots here.

We started this war (Ukraine NATO membership).

We are motivated by economics.

Do not obfuscate this issue with BS about democracy (Ukraine isn't one), human rights (Ukraine violated them too, we armed a bunch of neo-nazi whack jobs because they were willing to fight), or sovereignty (we can give a shit about that when we crap all over others and their “sovereignty” when it suits us).

This is a war we started, because we want more money, where we lied repeatedly and broke agreements and understandings, where we armed a bunch of wacko’s and are expecting Russia to accept something we would not, neither in the 60s (Cuban Missile Crisis), 80s (Grenada) or today (Solomon Islands).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDG_hWlVda4

And now we are in the odd situation of denying this, and or downplaying it. Crazy shit. US tax dollars and equipment, US Special Forces training Nazi's, no kidding. And EVERYONE knows this (around the world), except the well informed folks watching the US MSM which is an extension of the Democrat party.

Do not confuse ones strength, the ability to use force to achieve ones end with having some moral high ground. If we truly thought that were truth and virtue, then every wife beater is right.

There is NOTHING about this war that is right. NOTHING-

https://www.france24.com/en/russia/20220130-did-nato-betray-russia-by-expanding-to-the-east (Yes, we lied - flat out lied, repeatedly and if you want to know the specifics: Minsk Memorandum where we violated article #13 I believe (Arming and having US troops there training them). Then look up our withdraw of the Ballistic Missile Treaty and building of a missile defense shield in earnest. Finally look at NATO Eastward expansion, which we said we would not do.)

Ukraine wasn't NATO, no they were a former Soviet Republic. We're not defending them (they were in a de facto civil war). We came in and started stomping on former Soviet ground. If Texas declares itself independent and we have a civil war, if other nations came to help Texas and called the rest of the Union invaders, would that seem right with you?”

Ukraine already had a special status with the EU. They were de facto sovereign: their own sham elections, media, trade with whomever they wanted, free movement of people, goods, money and services...

What was this about? Western economic interests want more. For them to go big, they want certain guarantees, an insurance policy so to speak, may it be economic through the EU or physical security through NATO. You see, if a nation is in the EU, there are rules that need followed may that be IP, monetary policies, harmonization of laws, taxes/tariffs... Greece for example can't just print more money and France has to accept foreign wines, just like Germany has to accept foreign made cars (they once played horrible games in order to restrict imports)... For the giant multinational firms and banks, EU and NATO membership is like having an underwriter beyond just what Ukraine promises.
