This will destroy my car rapidly. There has to be a suit to block this before it wipes out every car made before 2001. This increases an already expected food shortage, and raises the cost of gasoline even more. And, we can't wait until the elections this fall. Damage will be irreversible rapidly.

and cannot be used in concentrations above 10 percent in small engines — like outboard boat motors, motorcycles, lawnmowers, generators or chain saws

I buy the $5.45/gallon non ethanol for my small engines.

“increases an already expected food shortage”

That’s the point.

The "Third Issue" seems ludicrous.

A 15% ethanol mix is ALREADY required for winter fuel blends. What does this third issue have to do with eliminating the transition to 10% ethanol?

There goes my 1997 Ford Expedition! Can’t afford to be paying for a new car and don’t want to spend a bunch of money on a used car. Thanks Brandon!

Fourth issue cars built before 2001 are not designed to run on e15. This fuel will likely damage these cars. Of course these cars are owned by mainly owned by poor people. Don’t even get me started on small engines and the destruction ethanol does to those.

Increasing ethanol in gasoline is like shooting yourself in the foot and then going for a tighter group.

It was hardly quiet. Very well publicized.

Don’t buy it if there’s doubt your car can handle it. Be mercenary. Even if our car can handle it, don’t buy it if the mpg difference isn’t a bargain. Don’t reward bad math.

It’s only available in a very limited number of stations.

..... I was under the impression that the corn grown and used for Ethanol Production was actually different than the corn used for food .... So how can the government just wave a magic wand and increase production of Ethanol Use Corn ...... Not to mention the shortage of fertilizer that will stymie additional production of this corn.

Ethanol should be completely removed from gasoline. Eff corporatist farmers and the RINOs they elect.

My son could be the plaintiff in a lawsuit on this. He worked and saved his money up to buy his first car: a 98 Toyota Camry. If ethanol destroys his engine, he’s got no way to get to work, and can’t afford a newer car.

There has to be a suit to block this before it wipes out every car made before 2001.

Democrats doing the pelosi hand rub in glee as they predict millions of cars will be off the road with destroyed engines soon and the new e-car market demand will have a great surge. This edict makes the greenies very happy and ev mfg happy along with chinee battery factories ecstatic. The poor/lower middle in the U.S. that rely on older used cars better get used to riding in bidets busses.

which will mean the cost of the gasoline from the refineries will increase,….. which will mean the cost of the gasoline at the pump will go higher. So the refineries/oil companies are just getting greedier. (This is what will come from the Brandon admin and his followers)

I guess that means we might not be able to save our refrigerated food from those predicted bidenized power failures coming soon.

All part of the plan to make the middle class subservient and then disappear. The leftists feel guilty about the middle class having wealth and using too many resources (except them, because they are ‘virtuous’ in their thoughts).

Destructive, blind twits, all of them!

For now, I have 2 stations nearby with non ethanol fuel. When the 25 year old truck gets down to a half tank again, I will fill up with the non ethanol and alternate with the 15% ethanol if necessary. I hope it works out.
