Where we are now? A Banana Republic

Boy it is open season for drama queens on Twitter. There is no end to condemnation and smearing of Donald Trump. He’s being called a traitor, a thief and more. Michael Hayden and Michael Beschloss have called for Trump’s execution. Scott Adams notes that the media is out in full “propaganda mode.”

A little taste of the left

FACTS: Donald Trump is a treasonous dickhead that has turned his cult followers into domestic terrorists that are willing to kill other Americans so he can keep his power.

Currently, the most bandied about charge liberals are pushing is the Espionage Act. Never mind that Hillary “could have” been charged with it. Never mind that Obama used the Espionage Act 6 times to persecute reporters who published leaks. Never mind all the wretched accusations of Trump crimes we’re endured for the last six years:

Figures who pushed the debunked Russian collusionincitement, or bizarre attempted murder claims are now claiming with the same certainty that conviction is finally at hand. Once again, before the eggs fly, the release of actual evidence would be useful.
The President

In April Joe Biden pushed Merrick Garland to be more like a prosecutor and made it know he wanted Trump prosecuted

The Judge

The Feds went judge shopping and they wound up buying Bruce Reinhart. Reinhart has a history of posting anti-Trump messages on social media. Reinhart represented associates of Jeffrey Epstein and had to recuse himself from a Trump-Clinton lawsuit because he could not be neutral. Yet he saw no need to recuse himself from the Trump warrants despite his obvious bias.

The FBI

Brian Auten

Brian Auten was named in a letter Monday by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, informing them that bureau whistleblowers charge the analyst was part of a “scheme” to “undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”

Based on findings by the Justice Department inspector general,  Auten “failed to advise” his colleagues of the unreliability of the Steele dossier, the compilation of salacious claims against Trump later debunked by special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, which could not find evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.

Paul Sperry said of Auten: This Russiagate FBI Analyst Couldn’t Verify Anything In The Steele Dossier Yet Said Nothing For Years

Timothy Thibault

One of the whistleblowers claimed the FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington field office, Timothy Thibault, shut down a line of inquiry into Hunter Biden in October 2020 despite some of the details being known to be true at the time.

A whistleblower also said Thibault “ordered closed” an “avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting,” according to Grassley, even though “all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants.” The senator said Thibault “ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required” and that FBI officials “subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future,” according to the disclosures.

Thibault posted “anti-Trump Lincoln Project tweets” on social media. FBI Director Christopher Wray said he found Thibault’s actions “deeply troubling”, but Thibault remains an FBI agent. The failure to remove derelict FBI agents is also very troubling.

According to Jim Jordan, at least 14 FBI whistleblowers have come forward.

When is the last time the FBI executed a humiliating raid on a democrat- or on Hunter Biden?

The Raid

They took his privileged documents. Donald Trump requested a “special master” for document sorting and protecting lawyer-client privilege. Request denied

The FBI seized boxes containing records covered by attorney-client privilege and potentially executive privilege during its raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, sources familiar with the investigation told Fox News, adding that the Justice Department opposed Trump lawyers’ request for the appointment of an independent, special master to review the records.
Trump asked for his lawyer to be present while the FBI ransacked his residence. Request denied.

They took his passports

The FBI searched and removed what some claimed to be “top secret.” Who gave the FBI clearance to view top secret documents? Why did the DOJ wait 18 months if they were so concerned about Trump holding the materials? When granted the warrant the FBI waited three days to conduct the raid. Why? Because they waited to give Biden just enough time to blow town without having to answer any questions.

Trump claims that he had declassified all of the documents with which Kash Patel agrees. More about that

As I said on another thread today “The country has profoundly changed in terms of demographics, culture and morality. And it seems that upcoming generations have no interest in maintaining the legacy of freedom, industry, security and stability that we have long enjoyed.”

What lies ahead is going to be very ugly for the country.

I agree. At least most on our side won’t be as shocked when it hits.

First there’s the unarguable goal of fairness. Fairness to the different cultures and races. Thus is born the ‘diversity’ buzzword. That’s hard to argue against. Then our government and media look for situations where diversity is not happening. Policies, laws, and ostracisms are created. That’s the birth of fear. I think thousands of management and non-management people don’t say what they think because of a fear of being fired, denied promotion, breaking some law, shunned, etc.

One result is the widely reported moral decay in our education system. I think that’s not because the educators believe the woke stuff, but that they fear opposing the system they are in.

The diversity mania needs to cool down. All races and cultures must ultimately take care of themselves, as opposed to being permanent recipients of help. That might mean that one culture does not, on the average, make as much money as another. So be it. Is it not possible for a culture to choose goals and, by themselves, work toward them?

I’ll add that many people are very concerned about Pensions and Social Security.

Industry? That was given away. Rush thought it a good idea so the GOP rubes bought into it.

Agree. And if there should be a severe market correction other retirement assets could also decline significantly in value.

Few people in this country are sufficiently preparing for retirement. That could be a huge problem, and not that far down the road.

I believe the Elites and power brokers and others are padding their pockets with as much as they can before it all sinks.

There is no way to keep track of the $ billions.
