I have to wonder about that Carter Page FISA warrant from 2016. The released version had 20-something contiguous pages redacted, every jot and tittle blacked out. My pet theory is those pages were a Presidential override, which the statute provides for. If so they had to be redacted in toto because just about any part of the signing statement Obama inserted would have blown his cover.

I don’t knownabout damning, but if there was a memo that said “everything that touches Mar a Lago is declassified on my order”, that memo should be revealed pretty soon. At that point, it is up to the new president *who is largely concerned about the availability of ice cream this afternoon* to specifically reclassify those documents in a timely fashion and communicate the decision to the Trump team.
