The worst part of being President of our local youth football was dealing with the parents.

Once had a chubby 40 something mom complain about the spandex and low cut outfits one hot looking mom liked to wear. She wanted me to tell her it was not appropriate attire. I was not about to tell a woman how to dress. Instead I blurted out: ‘we should be thankful that she can still wear those outfits.’

It was not my finest moment.

In whose universe is a 6-year-old considered to be an “athlete”?

I don’t consider middle-aged pro golfers to be “athletes”, let alone 6-year-olds who are probably almost as likely to score a “touchdown” for the other team as their own.

Just as these little kids are not “athletes”, the person that wrote the article is not a “journalist”.
