NEW: California to Ban Gas and Diesel Trucks by 2035
The Gateway Pundit ^ | November 23, 2022 | Cristina Laila

Posted on 11/23/2022 4:26:14 PM PST by Macho MAGA Man

The Marxists on the California Air Resources Board are looking to ban all gas and diesel trucks.

The board boasted about being the first to adopt a rule requiring truck manufacturers to transition from diesel to electric beginning in 2024.

It is unclear how California will charge all of these vehicles when they can’t even keep the lights on during heatwaves and days with gusty winds.

There is no infrastructure to support this plan.

And what about the logistics? How will trucks be able to stick to their routes when there aren’t enough charging stations?

“Many California neighborhoods, especially Black and Brown, low-income and vulnerable communities, live, work, play and attend schools adjacent to the ports, railyards, distribution centers, and freight corridors and experience the heaviest truck traffic,” the California Air Resources Board wrote.

This is complete total insanity! How can these big rigs stay charged hauling oil and gas rigs and equipment and other heavy loads? They can't.

Makes zero sense. Especially given the enormous size of CA.

I wonder how many poor black and brown people are on the California Air Resources Board.
I wonder how many in Compton and Watts give a damn about this nonsense.
I wonder how they’ll behave when supplies aren’t delivered to said communities in ample quantities.

I don’t wonder much about any of those things, least of all the third one.

Maybe they can strike the same time as the rail workers.
That would be wonderful.

I predict if this comes about, it will be such a disaster that there will be a political change in California. It just won’t work.

Eastern seaboard states should begin now to plan for massive construction or expansion of off-loading ports for all those container ships that will no longer arrive in CA...

Politicians are no longer behoven to the voters. Not with voter fraud. We are, in effect, Proto-Russia.

Years ago superhighways were planned to carry Chinese cargo from Mexican ports north to the US and Canada.

Then we would print more money to pay for the Chinese stuff and Mexican truckers.

I remember hearing about plans to build Mexican super ports to avoid the high costs, pollution regs, and union featherbedding of Calif ports. What happened?

Trump needs to cut off their Federal Highway funds in 2025. We can’t haul from their ports they don’t get our highway funds.

Why 2035? All truckers/companies should stop delivering or picking up from CA right now. Yes oranges may become more expensive, wine supply may dwindle etc etc. but truly, if that’s the way they feel in CA...just stop NOW.
